This website is hosted by AHOY united media. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system used. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
We do not use any analytics or marketing cookies. To protect the contact form against automated submissions (spam), we use the Turnstile service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile uses technical characteristics of your browser (including IP address, browser and device information) to check whether the input comes from a human. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning form protected against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our server. No connection to Google servers is made.
On the “Location & Surroundings” page you can display a map showing where our apartments are. The map is only loaded when you click “Load map” or have consented to external media in the notice. Map data is then loaded from servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom) and the Leaflet map library from the cdnjs content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc.; your IP address is transmitted to these providers in the process. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. Bookings are not made on this website but via our booking partner Sylt to Hus. Only when you click an “Availability & booking” or “Available dates” link are you taken to their website; Sylt to Hus is responsible for the data processing there.
